AI agents for your finance firm, set up for you
We wire AI agents into the tools your team already uses: morning market briefs, client-meeting prep, meeting notes into your CRM, first drafts of reports. Every action is logged so compliance can read it.

For RIAs, family offices and small funds, 2–30 people. No engineer needed on your side.
Why firms get stuck
Everyone has ChatGPT. Nobody has a workflow.
Staff paste things into a chat window. Nothing is connected to your custodian, CRM or inbox, so the hours never come back.
Compliance says no by default
Client data, recordkeeping, who approved what. Without a log and clear guardrails, the safe answer is to ban it.
No one owns it
Prompts break, models change, the person who set it up leaves. Small firms can't hire an AI engineer for this.
How a pilot works
Scoping call (20 min)
We pick three workflows that eat the most hours each week and check what your compliance policy allows.
Two-week setup
Agents run on your own Claude or ChatGPT business accounts, connected to your tools. Your data stays in your accounts.
Handover
A runbook your team can follow, an audit log of every agent action, and a measured before/after of the hours saved.
Workflows we start with
Morning brief
Overnight moves, earnings and news for the names your clients actually hold, in your inbox before 7am.
Meeting prep and notes
A one-page client brief before each meeting; notes and follow-ups into the CRM after it.
Report first drafts
Quarterly letters and portfolio commentary drafted from your data, ready for a human edit.
Research summaries
Filings, transcripts and research notes condensed to what matters for your book.

Real output from our reference agent, run on live market data for a fictional RIA (Harbor Ridge Wealth, 10 holdings). This is what lands in an advisor's inbox before 7am. It states facts and flags; it never recommends a trade.

What the AI sees: the exact prompt
Every run saves the full request next to the brief, word for word, even when Claude is switched off, so your CCO can read it before turning the model on. The model gets these rules, the task, and market facts on the holdings list. No account numbers, no client files. After each draft, any number that isn't in the facts is listed in the audit log for the reviewer to check first.
SYSTEM
You write internal notes for staff at a registered investment adviser.
Rules:
- Use only the facts in the JSON provided. Do not add prices, news, or numbers that are not in it.
- Do not give buy, sell, or hold recommendations, and do not predict prices.
- If a fact is missing (for example no headlines), say so plainly instead of guessing.
- Plain English, short sentences, no hype. Markdown headings and bullets.
USER
Write this morning's brief for the advisors. Structure:
# Morning brief: <firm> (<date>)
## What matters today (3-5 bullets, most client-relevant first; weight by clients_holding)
## Movers (table: ticker, 1d %, 5d %, clients holding, why flagged)
## Earnings coming up
## Headlines on client holdings
## Data notes (as-of dates, any tickers that failed to load)
End with the line: Internal use only. Not investment advice. Prepared by an AI agent from market data; review before sharing.

Sample audit log: what compliance sees
Every run writes append-only records: which inputs were read, what data was fetched, who ran it, and a hash of the output. If anyone edits a brief after the fact, the check flags it. Nothing is marked as sent until a person reviews it.

Q4 ops deadlines for small advisory firms
Every date below links to its IRS source. The right-hand column is what Agent Desk checks on your book: which clients each deadline hits and whether the open item has an owner. Shown on the two-client sample book.
Oct 15, 2026: extended 2025 returns
Clients who filed Form 4868 owe their 2025 return. For self-employed clients it is also the last day for 2025 SEP-IRA contributions (IRS: SEP plans).
Sample book: 1 of 2 flagged. Marcus Bell: on extension with a SEP IRA, no open item yet. The agent says so, so someone adds one and owns it.
Oct 15, 2026: fix a 2025 IRA contribution
A client who filed on time can still recharacterize or withdraw an excess 2025 IRA contribution within 6 months of the April due date. Roth conversions can't be undone; recharacterization ended for conversions after 2017 (IRS Pub 590-A).
Sample book: 0 of 2 flagged.
Dec 31, 2026: required minimum distributions
Owners aged 73+ take their 2026 RMD by Dec 31. Only the first RMD can wait until April 1 of the next year (IRS RMD FAQs). Inherited IRAs can carry annual RMDs inside the 10-year window too.
Sample book: 1 of 2 flagged. Dana & Luis Ortega: "Confirm RMD plan for Luis's inherited IRA" is open, owner unassigned.
Dec 31, 2026: Roth conversions and QCDs
A conversion counts for 2026 only if it completes by Dec 31. Clients 70½+ can send up to $111,000 each straight from an IRA to charity as a QCD for 2026, and it counts toward the RMD (Fidelity: QCDs).
Sample book: 0 of 2 flagged. Custodians set their own processing cutoffs before Dec 31; the agent puts your custodian's date next to each open item.
Use these rules in ChatGPT or Claude
Free connector with the same rules and IRS sources, so the answer doesn't change between chats. Add it as a custom connector (Claude: Settings → Connectors; ChatGPT: developer mode) with this URL:

Try: "Check these clients: MB born 1976, SEP IRA, on extension; LO born 1964, inherited IRA, open item 'Confirm RMD plan'." Use initials, not names. Nothing is stored (privacy). Checklist, not tax advice.
FAQ
Who is behind this?
Vittoria: previously a senior software engineer at Amazon, now building AI agent systems at a tech company. Agent Desk is a small, hands-on side practice, so each pilot gets direct attention.
Can it run on our real book from day one?
Yes. Export positions from your custodian or portfolio system as CSV (one file per account is fine) and the agent builds the holdings list from it: cash and sweep lines dropped, positions combined across accounts. The first brief can be on your own names the same day.
Where does our data go?
Into your own business AI accounts and tools, under your agreements with those vendors. We don't keep copies.
Will this pass compliance?
We design for it: logged actions, human approval before anything reaches a client, nothing that gives investment advice on its own. Your CCO has the final say, and we work with them.
What does it cost?
Pilot setup is a fixed fee agreed on the scoping call, with an optional monthly care plan. Nothing is charged before you agree a scope.
